We’re looking for an enthusiastic and self-motivated intern to assist us with the social media effort for both Cambridge.com and Brookline.com. We’re flexible on your office hours and some of this work can be completed outside of the office.
You should have a desire to learn about social media and be ready to assist in any and all aspects of developing and maintaining new websites with a concentration on developing social media content. Ideal candidates are majoring in English, Journalism, Communications, marketing or closely-related fields.
You should view this as an opportunity to actively manage our social media effort. You will report to and work with both the President and our Editor in Chief. In addition you’ll have your work published and credited on one or more of our websites. This is not an internship where you’ll be filing paperwork. This position offers real-world work experience that will build your resume.

Eligible candidates should have:
• At least two years of undergraduate study completed
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Willingness to work independently and with minimal supervision
• Excellent writing and editing skills
• Experience using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and other social media outlets
